The Aquarai Clan

History//Legend of the Clan:
Elements have always been. Since the beginning of time. In the beginning they took the form of humans and the two coexisted in harmony. Until humans started using elemental jutsu to wage wars and kill each other. The elements receded to the last of the wild places and with them they took man's natural affinity to the specific elements. As a result humans had to start performing hands seals to perform any elemental. There are five elemental spirits that are the essence of each element. They are immortal and control the balance of nature. The names of the five are; Raigeri the lightning element he was last seen in his human form 3000 years ago rumor has it he resides in the skies. Ignisia is the fire element she is the most destructive of the five and is seen quite often by humans as a being in the middle of an inferno. Ayreos the wind element was the most passive of the five and was rarely seen even before the elements went away he has completely shaken off his human form and he now lives in the wind. Tergarius the earth element wanders from village to village as a hermit along with Ignisia he is the second most destructive of the elements. He is a womanizer and has sired many children. Aquaria is the water elements she is seen by humans about once every ten years. She is usually seen only by one human and that will be her lover for a time period of about a year. She is one of the more passive elements, but she can be just as destructive as Ignisia any day. Aquaria and Tergarius are the only two elements that have children up to date.

The aquaria bloodline started when Aquaria sired her first child. This started a hundred years ago when the water element started appearing in public again. They are the most beautiful of the of the elemental offspring. They are born to her many lovers over the century. These men usually die within ten years violently on the child’s tenth or eleventh birthday.


Kekkei Genkai//Bloodline of the Clan:
The Aquarai bloodline has a Kekkei Genkai known as Mizu Tousei Suru (water control. The ability comes from the water element part of their being. They are immortal and regenerate quickly from wounds as well as being immune to all poisons.

Immortality/Regeneration: Members of the Aquarai bloodline have instant regeneration to their bodies when they come in contact with water. They have to be wet or standing in it. The regeneration rate depends on their power level. Once their regeneration has reached a certain speed it makes them immortal indirectly. They can re-grow lost limbs but cannot do this in the heat of battle. The only way for one to die is if they where beheaded or ripped apart.

Mizu Tousei Suru: This clans truly unique bloodline limit gives them semi-full control over liquid water . This includes all of the different phases of water, but mainly the liquid phase .Though they cannot control the solid and gas phase when it comes to close to them it either melts or condensates back into liquid water. It also allows them to turn their bodies into water but only if they are really well hydrated or close(in or just outside) to a large body of water. It also allows them to perform water jutsu without the use of long elaborate hands seals. Instead there would be a single hand seal or action they need to perform to complete the attack. Most of the time water will follow their movements when they want it to.

They all have a birth mark on their dominant hand(水). This allows them to open a portal to the ocean on the ground. The portal only allows sea water through. The portal does two things. One it lowers the ground from a center point creating an empty lake bed, 2 it then fill up with water from the sea. The water has no special qualities except for being from the ocean and anybody can use it.

Weakness: As with all bloodline limits they have a weakness. That is lightning based attacks. These attacks depending on severity can paralyze them for a short while or it can knock them out completely . They suffer also greatly when they are dehydrated and must constantly drink liters water. When they are dehydrated they become slow, clumsy and weak. Though fire doesn’t burn them easily it dehydrates them.

Strengths: They have a high resistance to burning and can easily extinguish fire attacks if it is at their power level. They can also not be injured by water in any of its phases.

Power level of Regeneration, Mizu Tousei Suru and immunity to poison

Poison Immunity: They need to be standing in water/wet or they need to ingest water in order to get it out of their system. Chakra made water doesn’t work for their regeneration or their poison immunity.

Regeneration: Can only occur while some part of them is wet or they are in water. Which is why most clan members douse themselves with water before a fight. If they are dry though they will not regenerate it will heal at the normal rate for humans. Which means if they receive a fatal wound and they are dry they can die and cannot be revived once dead even if they are placed into water.

Genin: Able to perform simple water jutsu with one hand seal and or with the movement of their bodies. They can heal normal sized wounds and lacerations. Like the ones you et from a Kunai or a shiruken.

Chuunin: Can perform more complex jutsu with one hand seal and or with the movement of their body. They can now regenerate from major wounds.

Jounin: No longer requires any hand seals for water jutsu up to rank B just the movement of their bodies can be used. Rank A water jutsu or higher requires one hand seal to perform and or the movement of their body. They are now immortal and can only be killed if they are ripped apart or beheaded.

Jounin +: They no longer require hands seals to perform water just only the movement of their bodies. They are still immortal.

Clan Information:

- Clan Training :: Clan members are trained like any ninja academy student up to the age of ten or eleven. Then their fathers die a horrible death. From their on they stay in the village and live with a foster/adoptive family. However once their powers start to manifest itself more clearly they need training from the clan leader otherwise they can kill people by accident with their power. So they will become wanderers and search out that member. Even though the do not know who the clan leader is they are pulled subconsciously towards him once they require further training. However there are a few who are trained by their mother through their dreams. This occurs only when there is no current clan leader. If this happens they become the next clan leader.

- Population ::They are a spread out clan but they tend to be born to an unmarried male ninja in the hidden villages of snow and mist. The water spirit selects a human she fancies. Nine months later she will leave the ninja leaving only a son or daughter behind . The clan it self is unknown to many and only the well educated ninja know of their existence.

General appearance: The clan is tall and beautiful, All clan members have blue or green hair or a combination of both. They also all have a birthmark on the dominant hand.

- Nature//Values ::Each member of the clan has its own personal values, but they are all based with the value of preservation of life and will not take a life on purpose no matter how small it is. They will also only defend they will never directly attack someone unless they are defending someone else. They don’t mind fighting however if it is just for fun or in a competition.
