Chinami has straight shoulder length hair in a bright crimson color. The color is actually almost a mixture of a bright crimson and deep pink. Her eyes are an incredible aqua color that usually look well with her abnormal hair color. Her eyelashes naturally heavy and thick, yet short. She is about 5'6, weighs 119lbs, and has cream colored complexion. Chinami's body is fit but not ripped. Just like the other "Unchained", she has a seal on her lower back of a broken chain. The broken chain is about as big as an apple and takes up the middle of her lower back. Chinami actually kinda likes it, thinking its creative. Her fingernails are long and slightly sharp. The only jewelry she wears is a silver bracelet with tiny teal colored jewels on it and a black necklace of what appears to be a tiny black music box made by her little sister.

However, she only wears the bracelet when not wearing her dark fingerless elbow length gloves. Usually, Chinami wears a ripped up white dress. It almost appears as a torn wedding gown. It cuts off at her shoulders, leaving them bare with a small hood that is attached to the front of her sleeveless corset. For the most part her hood is down. She only really wears it when traveling or doing missions. The dress usually trails a little behind, but dosen't give to much trouble. It cuts a little in the front, making the cloth end at about her knees. Her Konoha headband rests gently around her waist, acting like a belt. Around one of her hips is a small pouch used for kunai, shuriken, paper bombs and senbons. If she isn’t wearing light brown boots or white flats, she can be seen barefoot. Like most of the small population of "Unchained", she constantly looks like she could snap. Even if it is actually far from the truth. Of course she will wear better clothing when acting like a 'normal' person. Only if she has to.

Personality:

Despite her name meaning Heartless, she cares deeply about her little sister. Its the monster that seethes and waits for the perfect moment. She is usually quiet and cautious around strangers, leaving her face with only a blank expression. She can be nice and she can be ruthless. Chinami and be talkative and friendly with her fellow "Hidden" members and some few people she dosen't particularly hate. However, around her little sister Chiyuri, she will act completely different. Just for her, she will be bright and happy, push away her dislike for incredibly loud and crazy acts, and even play the silliest games with her. Chiyuri was to little to remember anything especially about they're parents. So you could say Chinami acts as a mother and sister. In the small apartment in which they both live in, she tries her best to make everything incredibly neat and clean. Down to the little spot on the counter from cooking. It is of course the complete opposite during battle.

Most of the time she dosen't crave a fight, but if its needed she complies. She treats the other "Hidden" members with respect, especially the Shinkokage. Even though she can seriously disagree with the Shinkokage, she has a secret admiration for him. The way he could just be so cold and ruthless. It truly was amazing. She follows his orders without much objection. Chinami will work with other people and she will work alone. It dosen't really matter to her, though working by herself or someone trustworthy from the "Hidden" is preferred. Occasionally, she does manipulate people with weak minds for her own gain. Or for her sister's gain. Its not completely obvious, though. She enjoys training, reading, and making candles. Yes, she really loves candles.

History:

~~ Youngling ~~

Chinami was a peaceful young girl. She was quiet but still held a bubbly air around her. Her mother stayed home and watched over her, while her father was a teacher at the Academy. You could say she was a mommy's little girl, because Chinami was often seen right next to her mother's side. She was most open to her mother and adored her completely. During the free time between her and her mother, they would make candles together. Most of the time she would get carried away playing with the wax. Just spending time with her mother was great though. Sometimes she even blew off playing with the other children and instead spent time with her mom. Her mother usually didn’t approve of it and insisted Chinami spend time away from the family. Specifically, her mom.

~~ Academy Arc ~~

To her father’s happiness, Chinami was sent off to join the army of new academy students. She stuck with studying rather than talking and fooling around. Her grades were good and she enjoyed talking with other children that were serious about being a ninja. It was during this time she also decided that Ninjutsu and Taijutsu were her favorite. So that is what she began to work on the most. Sometimes during training, Chinami wondered if their was any ninja with an absolute righteous power. Someone that just demanded everyone’s attention. Of course she had heard of the amazing sannin and kages, but wondered what they would look like in an actual serious battled were they had to try. What she ever witness something intense? Chinami wasn’t exactly sure of that. For the matter did she really want to see a horrible blood fest? Her mother and father were rather uncomfortable when she spoke like so. Mostly her mother, but that was understandable. After all, she was the woman that watched her grow from a little girl that was always by her to a ninja that could kill. She pushed aside her motherly worry and continued to let Chinami go along as her kunoichi self.

~~ Genin Arc ~~

When her sister was born, Chinami didn’t really have any reaction besides shock. She could no longer be called favorite little girl by her parents. It wasn’t that she was jealous per say, she was just rather amused by the tiny human being that was called by Chiyuri. This was the time Chinami was also made Genin. She was very proud of herself and took care of her ninja headband as if it were another little sister. When she was on her team during a mission, she followed her sensei’s orders well and almost never questioned the sensei’s words. Though Chinami enjoyed training by herself she cooperate with others. Even if she ended up disliking the person, through pure respect and admiration, she complied. During her time as a genin she got a few scars, but nothing serious. Doing missions was fun but not too dangerous. Although she did crave a good fight with some idiot at times. That didn’t happen to much though. The missions usually ended well and she got some respect from some of the higher shinobi. Sometimes Chinami watched Chiyuri for a little when her mom and dad were busy. She didn’t really mind, for she had grown a liking to her little sister. From the start she had a feeling Chiyuri would be a hyper girl. She didn’t cry that much but seemed to randomly scream and laugh at the most random times. Chinami began to spend less time with her mother and father, working hard on a lot of things that she usually only thought of. She still talked to her mom about a lot just not as much as she used to. For a time, Chinami would also write down ideas for jutsu, sometimes going through with it. It wasn’t a exciting period, but it wasn’t boring either.

Finally, Chuunin Exams arrived at Konohagakure no Sato. Chinami joined along with her team, rather excited. The written exams was actually pretty easy and her team past without problem. During the Forest of Death, her team was anxious and prepared. At first the Forest of Death did seem slightly scary, but she pushed it aside as soon as they entered. In fact, the only thing that really irritated her was the humid weather and annoying chirps from the bugs. It was rather disgusting and she hoped she would never have to go back there. One of her teammates did get caught in another team’s trap. However, Chinami was able to stop the others and in return got the other scroll. They arrived at the tower in the Forest of Death within the next day with only a few scratches and bruises. After some weeks the time came for the final matches. Luck was on her side and she was put against a Fire element user. After a few minutes of some good taijutsu brawling they had it out with ninjutsu. During the last few moments, she pinned down the rowdy boy with her bare hands. Both tired from they’re match, they only exchanged dirty looks. The boy, pinned and angry, huffed and finally gave up. She was then shortly made chuunin. Victory sure was sweet.

~~ Chuunin Arc ~~

Now she was fourteen and chuunin. One night, waiting for her father to come back from a mission, she didn’t feel right. She couldn’t push the feeling away. Chiyuri was already asleep and her mother was in the kitchen. Chinami sat in her bedroom, staring at the bookcase in her room. It wasn’t odd for the Academy teacher to get an occasional mission but something still felt off. A few minutes of staring at her bookcase, she heard a scream. It wasn’t little Chiyuri’s usual random scream, for she was fast asleep. Chinami shot off her bed and ran out her bedroom to see her mother lying on the floor with blood around her. Right by her mother laid her father as well. She little out a small scream and looked up to see two men standing above her mother’s body. They came at her, hitting her chest. Chinami feel backwards, bleeding slightly. She went to raise her arms when suddenly the men slumped to the ground. Dead or unconscious, Chinami wasn’t too sure. Another small scream escaped from her when she saw a man, all dressed in black, with a amazingly wide grin. Afraid of the death of her and further more of Chiyuri, she got to her knees and looked at him. “W-wait! Please… I’ll join you, I swear, just don’t harm me or my little sister! I’ll do anything you ask for! I’m already a ninja, I can be useful! Please…” She pleaded with the man. Her bleeding seemed to quicken and was becoming soaked by the second. Was the blow that deep? ‘Alright then…’ The shadowed figure said with a sickening grin. Shadow seeped into Chinami; she felt a tattoo like thing form onto her lower back. Her eyes watered with sorrow and anger. The only happy thing that was worth it, was the life of her three year old little sister. She was now just like the sickening man. Someone that could cause other lives to beg and plead like so. He gave her the location of they’re group called “Hidden” which she took without objections. ‘Thank you…’ Chinami muttered before the man left. She contacting the Hokage about the murder, but of course lying right through her teeth. Chinami told them that intruders had killed her mother and father. She took action and killed them in return. They believed her dreaded lies. Chinami only wept alone, for she didn’t want Chiyuri to see her like so when she grew. As her little sister grew, she didn’t remember the horrible day that changed Chinami completely. Though Chinami has the most emotion when around her little sister, they are not to be accused as false feelings. She isn’t all the heartless…

~~ Apart of Something ~~

Now seventeen, she is a ‘Unchained’ rank inside the ‘Hidden’ group. Chinami and Chiyuri still live in the same house. She doesn’t weep for her parent’s loss any more. The only thing that matters is her little sister and her happiness. For the past years, Chinami is incredibly loyal to the Shinkokage. In a wretched way she admires him. He let her and Chiyuri live - that was more than a gift. Now she had a power that demanded attention from her victims. The ones that beg and plead, that are truly dying for no reason, get her most sympathy.

It was a quiet and dark night. Their were no leaves rustling, no owls hooting, and no people to go about they're lives. Kimiko sat alone on a bench in her usually dress, breathing lightly and waiting patiently. What was she doing you might ask? To stop a confused and hurt boy from leaving the village. She had seen the boy before at some of the training grounds, working hard with a constant sad frown. It wasn't any of her business, but she didn't think his choice was the way to go. As a jounin it was her job to defend Konoha and the people in it. Just as she went to turn her head, the noise of soft pattering feet filled the silent air. They young boy came into view. By the time Kimiko had stood up and stared at him with a curious gaze, he was slightly nervous and clearly irritated.

"K-kimiko-sensei... What are you doing out here?" The boy asked, avoiding the curious gaze of Kimiko.

A small grin creeped onto her face. She gently stepped closer to the boy, keeping her hands by her sides. "I could ask the same thing, dear." Kimiko said in a low kind voice. "Not enough rest and you will grow tired during training."

The boy whipped his gaze at her with a confused and irritated look. The way she went about her kindness even when she should be scolding him for even thinking about leaving the village. He bit his lip and looked at her with a glare. "I'm leaving... Don't try to stop me." He said firmly trying to prove his determination. Kimiko simply raised an eyebrow at him with pursed her lips, as if she was thinking intently about what he just said. "Now why would you do that?" She simply stated.

"I need to be powerful. Its the only way to be respected as a ninja." He snapped, irritated by the very presence of the kunoichi. "Its not like anyone really cares about me, let alone some of the other children... Wre just pawns." He stated bitterly, clenching his fists. The two of them were silent for a minute, simply exchanging stares. Kimiko swayed closer to him, lifting his chin with her pale delicate fingers. He flinched under her touch and let out an angry sigh. "Not only do I do care about you and the other children, but tell me....." She paused, giving the young boy an intense stare and altering her sweet voice for a firm one. "How can you ever be respected if you are viewed as a missing ninja. Scum and filth. Strong but degrading. Dishonorable." Kimiko finished, pulling away her grasp on him. Her head nodded to the side as if waiting for an answer.

The boy's face became pale and blank. He looked at her and then at the village entrance. His clenching stopped. The child's head lowered and his shoulders dropped. "I... Apologize sensei." He said, looking back up at Kimiko with a gleam in his eyes that showed defeat. She gave him a forgiving smile and sigh. "Come on, child." Kimiko whispered as she gently placed a hand on his back and escorted him back to his home.
