~~~~~
Name: Anju Seiju
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Village: Konohagakure no Sato
Ninja Rank: Genin
Looks:
Anju has a doll-like face, fair colored skin, and a petite figure. Her light blonde hair reaches a bit past her shoulders, and she usually wears a bow atop her head. Her chilling eyes are a piercing sea blue, usually blank, showing nearly no emotion. She is quite short for her age, only stretching about 4’5”.
She commonly wears a dress, sometimes a beautiful kimono that compliments her physique. Anju doesn’t dress much like a normal ninja, even refusing to wear her headband unless absolutely necessary. Although she passes as a talented kunoichi, she doesn’t care to be looked at as a threat. However, she almost always carries her scrolls containing her two puppets, Hakaisha and Hogosha, in an attractive pack worn on her back.
Always carried with her, normally in her arms, is a stuffed bunny she received when she was a child. It looks ancient, a tear can be found on the left ear. This friend of hers is a light tan, and has black beady eyes. She calls her Aiko, and can be found whispering to it on occasion. Some people claim that Aiko is alive, and have witnessed the stuffed bunny moving. Others correct them, saying that Anju uses her puppet skills to move Aiko. Whether or not the rumors are true are still unknown to anyone, but Anju of course.
Personality:
Anju is very delicate and fragile, fearing nearly anything that moves. In a way, she is shy. She doesn’t speak much, very rarely will she say anything. It’s not that she doesn’t know how to speak, but she chooses not to. People may find her rude for this, but it’s something she has done since she was a child. Most would say Anju is emotionless, due to the fact she doesn’t show much of an expression most of the time. She does feel emotion, just chooses not to show it. Others think that she believes emotion is a weakness, and she doesn’t make it noticeable because of her devastating past. Though, because she seldom talks, no one really knows anything about her.
At first glance, you would think Anju to be a careless young girl like any other. In this case, her looks are deceiving. She is quite demented, due to her childhood. Unlike most, she doesn’t really fear death nor is she afraid to kill someone else. Watching others suffer has almost no effect on her anymore, unless it’s someone she is particularly close to, which includes selected few. She is normally calm, unless scared. This doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a temper. On occasion, she can be easily angered. Anju is probably most dangerous when she is upset or mad, this is because she doesn’t hesitate to let you know. She can become very violent in this case, believed yet again because of her traumatizing childhood. After her tantrum, she usually cries and retreats to a vacant place.
Special Characteristics:
Anju is a talented puppeteer, as well as quite the impressive strategist and problem solver. Although she is quite young, she can be very intelligent and understanding. Her level of skill is slightly above normal, and she has outstanding chakra control. With that said, she is capable of performing techniques that require focus and excellent chakra control. Other than that, she’s just your average kunoichi, disregarding her strange personality.
Elements: Water
Skills/Specialties:
Main: Puppetry/Weaponry; Sub: Ninjutsu
Puppets:
Name: Hakaisha, “The Destroyer”
Description:
Hakaisha is Anju’s first puppet, and the most flexible of her puppets. He stands six feet tall, one foot wide, and is loaded with weapons. Anju has modified her puppets to look extremely realistic, adding some human looking characteristics. He is summoned through a summoning scroll she carries on her back, and can be returned the same way. Hakaisha has many added joints and a lacking defense. The joints make it easier for him to grab or wrap around an opponent. His right palm contains five knives attached like fingers, his left hand loaded with five knives that can be shot through the fingers. Within his mouth are poison coated senbon needles that can be released as well. If the opponent is hit with one of these needles, they immediately start to hallucinate and feel dizzy. This gives Anju the opportunity to make an attack or retreat while her opponent is unstable. Though Hakaisha’s torso is smaller than usual for added flexibility, it is large enough to store explosive seals, shuriken, and kunai that he easily take wield of in battle. In the upper part of his torso are slits that when manipulated correctly, can release stored shuriken or kunai. This can be much more effective when used after restraining the opponent. Hakaisha is also equipped with wings, used to glide or increased speed in movement. From these wings are wires that can be released and used as an added restraint.
-Explosive Seals; x20
-Senbon; x25
-Shuriken; x50
-Kunai; x50
Name: Hogosha, “The Protector”
Description:
Hogosha is Anju’s second puppet, and the largest of her puppets. Standing six feet tall, three feet wide, the reason for his name is obvious. Anju has modified her puppets to look extremely realistic, adding some human looking characteristics. He is summoned through a summoning scroll she carries on her back, and can be returned the same way. Attached to his right arm is a shield made of chakra infused steel and has been thinned down to serve lighter than most metals. His left arm has added joints to make it slightly more flexible, perfect for wrapping around the opponent. Upon his head is a steel helmet of similar material to his shield. Inside his upper chamber, or head, are hidden flash bombs and smoke bombs. When manipulated, he can release these bombs to prepare for a surprise attack or as a distraction for Anju to retreat. His torso has many slits about an inch wide, it is also capable of being opened and trapping the opponent inside. In combination with Anju’s first puppet, knives can be inserted in the slits for an easy and effective attack on anyone who happens to be trapped inside. Hogosha has steel boot-like feet, used to help stand his ground when blocking an attack. Anju can manipulate him to force these steel boots into the ground, making his defense more efficient. He is built sturdier than most puppets, causing him to be less vulnerable to explosives. Like everything, he has his limits. When damaged enough, Anju may have to work to restore him after a battle.
-Flash Bombs; x2
-Smoke Bombs; x3
Jutsus
Basic:
Name: Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing)
Rank: -
Type: Supplementary
Chakra Cost: -
Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed
Name: Bikou Ninjutsu (Shadowing Stealth Technique)
Rank: -
Type: Supplementary
Chakra Cost: -
Bikou Ninjutsu is the technique ninjas use to follow their targets covertly. The manner in which the ninja shadows their target can differ, from the basic hiding under a nearby object, to using a jutsu to turn oneself invisible. The skill and length in which one can stay hidden varies by rank and ability.
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza (Act of Water Surface Walking)
Rank: -
Type: Supplementary
Chakra Cost: -
A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.
Name: Explosion Tag: Activate
Rank: E
Type: -
Chakra Cost: 5
The user will activate an explosion tag. Normally, the tag will be placed by them, so they know where it is and can easily activate it.
Name: Kakuremino no Jutsu (Magic Cloak of Invisibility Technique)
Rank: E
Chakra Cost: 5
Damage: -
Element: -
Kakuremino no Jutsu is a very basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja uses a camouflage cloth to cloak themselves in the background.
Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu (Escaping Skill)
Rank: E
Chakra Cost: 5
Damage: -
Element: -
A very basic technique that allows a ninja to escape from rope binds.
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu (Change of Body Stance Technique)
Rank: E
Chakra Cost: 5-19
Damage: -
Element: -
When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.
Name: Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
Rank: E
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage: -
Element: -
Allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.
Name: Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)
Rank: E
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage: -
Element: -
Creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the clone gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.
Name: Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)
Rank: D
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage: -
Element: -
The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.
Name: Kage Shuriken no Jutsu (Shadow Shuriken Technique)
Rank: D
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage: -
Element: -
When throwing a shuriken, the ninja will also throw a second shuriken to hide in the shadow of the first. The hidden secondary shuriken can then approach the target without their being aware.
Name: Gyorai Shin no Jutsu (Torpedo Needles Technique)
Rank: C
Chakra Cost: 50
Damage: -
Element: -
The user will throw nails or needles into the air and then plant them tip first into the earth. Using their chakra to guide them, the nails will travel into the ground. Then at their discretion, they can fire the nails from the ground through the feet of the target to nail them in place. They can then fire the remaining nails from the ground to cut the target to pieces.
Name: Kai (Dispel)
Rank: -
Chakra Cost: 20-200+; Depends on the genjutsu being dispelled
Damage: -
Element: -
A jutsu that destroys/cancels out an illusionary jutsu attempted on the user. Only shinobi with strong chakra control can perform this. The user releases a large amount of chakra then quickly halts it. The genjutsu is usually dispelled after that, depending on how strong the skill is.
Puppetry:
Name: Kugutsu no Jutsu (Puppet Replacement Technique)
Rank: D
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage: -
Element: -
A variation of Kawarami no Jutsu, instead of switching with an object such as a log, the user is replaced by their nearby puppet allowing them to launch sneak attacks or evade attacks.
Name: Kugutsu no Jutsu (Puppetry Technique)
Rank: C
Chakra Cost: 50; +5 each post active
Damage: -
Element: -
This jutsu uses strings of chakra from the user's fingers to control puppets like marionettes. This skill is often prepared in coordination with the Body Replacement Technique so the user can quickly switch places with their puppet when necessary. Another useful quality of this skill is the fact that the puppet can take the form of another person, usually its user, allowing the user to trick their enemy into thinking they're fighting a living person.
Any number of chakra strings can be used to control a puppet, but users with more skill using the technique can use fewer strings per puppet. Both Chiyo and Sasori demonstrated the ability to control entire puppets perfectly using just one string. While most puppeteers would normally be able to control ten puppets at most (one per finger), Sasori's self-modification allowed him to control up to one hundred puppets at a time.
Apart from being used to control marionettes, the chakra strings can be attached to other objects, allowing the user to control, or at the very least disrupt, other things. In one instance, Kankuro uses chakra strings to trip Naruto Uzumaki when they first meet. In another, Chiyo uses chakra strings to control Sakura Haruno like a puppet. Many of the puppets used (like Kankuro's) were made by Akatsuki's Sasori of the Red Sand, so he knows many of the inner workings such as hidden weapons.
Perhaps the the techniques only weakness is that its reliance to the user manipulating their puppets through the use of the hands, and as such, could be rendered useless if the arms are bound, broken, cut off or otherwise disabled.
Water:
Name: Samon Hosa no Jutsu (Hearing Aid Technique)
Rank: D
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage: -
Element: Water
This jutsu creates small goblets of water that cover the user's ears. The water is shaped into an amplifier and allows the user to track nearby opponents by sound due to the increased accuracy of hearing.
Name: Nuranura Mizu Meiun no Jutsu (Slippery Puddle of Doom Technique)
Rank: D
Chakra Cost: 25
Damage: -
Element: Water
This jutsu requires a source of water and the user’s manipulative chakra. A think layer of the user’s chakra is settled at the top of the puddle, but isn’t visable to the naked eye. Since it’s the user’s chakra, they can walk on top of the water, and possibly fool the opponent that it is normal water in the meantime. As soon as the opponent steps foot on the water, they’ll lose their balance on the slippery surface, giving the user the advantage to strike the opponent or retreat.
Name: Mizu Geinchisoku no Jutsu (Water Acceleration Technique)
Rank: D
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage: -
Element: Water
After performing Suimen Hokou no Waza (Act of Water Surface Walking), the user also focuses their chakra into a thin layer onto the surface of the water from their feet. This provides the user a speed gain, as for now they can move more quickly and conrtolled while walking on water. This gives the user the advantage of speedier attacks, but when hit, may cause the user difficulty in standing their own ground.
Name: Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hiding Mist Technique)
Rank: D
Chakra Cost: 35
Damage: -
Element: Water
This jutsu envelops the surrounding area in a dense mist, reducing visibility within the affected area. The density can be controlled by the user, allowing them to create a mist so thick that even they can't see through it.
Name: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique)
Rank: C
Chakra Cost: 50
Damage: -
Element: Water
This jutsu creates one or more identical copies of the user out of water. Like the Shadow Clone Technique, these clones are capable of attacking and using jutsu, but they are easier to defeat because they are only one-tenth of the user's power. Additionally, they can only be controlled within a certain distance of the user.
Name: Suiro no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique)
Rank: C
Chakra Cost: 50
Damage: -
Element: Water
This jutsu is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. Clones can be used in place of the actual person, provided that the clone is the one that performed the technique. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. Neji Hyuga has been able to use his ability to release chakra from all of his pressure points to disrupt the flow of chakra inside the prison and break free. Despite the fact that the prison is made up entirely out of water, and the target is unable to move while within it, the target is still able to breathe.
~~~~~

History:

Anju was born in Kirigakure, The Village Hidden in the Mist. Chinatsu Atsui was her mother, a young mistress with long blonde curls and emerald eyes. Hiraku Henteko, her father, was a highly honored assassin with hair as white as snow and piercing blue eyes that looked like saphires. Anju’s appearance was a combination of both parents, light blonde hair with eyes the color of the ocean. When Chinatsu first became pregnant, it seemed to surprise them both. Neither had any parenting skills, and had lost their own parents many years before. Despite this, they were quite excited about raising a child of their own. With the help of Hiraku’s elder sister, Masuyo Henteko, the small family began preparing for the newcomer. Masuyo never had a child of her own, her husband went missing in action a few years back and she couldn’t seem to fall in love again. Therefore, she was jubilent when her younger brother and sister in law asked for her help with the baby. Little did they know, having the right material wasn’t all that was needed in raising a child. Once Anju was born, their outlook on everything changed. The first mistake was when Hiraku left on distant mission, leaving the two women to care for the child. Normally, this would be much of a problem, but neither knew what they were doing and immediately paniced after he left.

Eventually, the two women became accustom to the daily chores of raising Anju. After a few weeks, they had a routine down. Chinatsu would get up with Anju in the early morning, feeding her, changing her, rocking her to sleep when nap time came around. Masuyo would stay up with Anju late at night, giving Chinatsu time to rest. She performed the same chores as the mother, and between all the work, she’d make time to play with Anju. Masuyo seemed to create a bond with Anju, making her jealous of Chinatsu. This went on for about a year or so. All seemed to being going pretty well, and then Hiraku came home. Not only did this alter their routine, Hiraku felt as if he was being completely ignored. He actually became jealous of his own daughter, angered because he wasn’t getting enough attention. Soon enough, he became violent with his own family. He’d yell and scream at Chinatsu and Masuyo over the littlest things they did wrong, or just to give him something to be mad at them for. Sometimes he’d throw household items, swing around weapons. Masuyo couldn’t take it and left, trying to take Anju and run away as well. Chinatsu wouldn’t leave, nor would she let Anju go. It wasn’t long until word got to the public. Chinatsu kept making excuses for him, saying that his past mission must have stressed him greatly and that it would pass. Well, that’s what she kept hoping anyways. One of the medics decided it best to take a look at him, so he came to the house knowing that Hiraku probably wouldn’t cooperate. All of this conflict happened in front of Anju, whom was just learning to crawl and walk a little here and there. This was another concern of some of the medics of the village. They examined him, and came to the conclusion that it was indeed all in his head.

Chinatsu was relieved until the medics left and Hiraku rose from his chair in a rant. He blamed her for his fallen comrads, for the medics coming to examine him, he claimed she had been talking about him to the public to get sympathy and pity. At this time, he began to become abusive. Chinatsu put Anju in her crib, afraid of what he might do next. It was a good thing she did, because as soon as she turned around he smacked her across the face so hard it could be heard outside the door of their home. Chinatsu began to consider running off with Anju as Masuyo had advised, but stuck around in fear that he might hunt them down. She wasn’t going to take the risk knowing that he was an assassin and perfectly capable of tracking them and killing them off, she knew he was crazed now. He showed absolutely no attention to Anju, acting as if she didn’t even exist. Her mother would take care of her all day while her father critisized everything her mother did. Every night there was a dispute, sometimes he’d even go out and come back home drunk, only making the situation worse. In the meantime, Anju not only grasped how to walk but how to climb out of her crib. She’d walk in on their fights on occasion and tug at her father’s pants or her mother’s dress, sometimes pointing and raising her little voice, as if she thought it was a game and wanted to play. Chinatsu would hurry her to her room, put her back in her crib, and shut the door tightly.

Finally, after a few years of constant abuse, Chinatsu grew a backbone. Chinatsu had been out of the house getting grocceries, and brough back a stuffed bunny for Anju. The child was only about four and knew how to say few words, but mostly ran around the house finding things to play with. Her mother thought it would be safer if she played with something she knew wasn’t dangerous. Hiraku was furious, flaming that such a toy was unnecassary. He walked over to his daughter and tried to take her new toy, but Anju refused to let go and began to cry. He shoved her into the wall, making her lose grip, and snatched her toy. That was the last straw, Chinatsu charged at her husband with the kitched knife, waving it around in the air and telling him to get out of her house. When he went to go hit her this time, she hit back. It was hard enough to knock him into the nearby table, but when he got up, he did much more. Chinatsu fought back hard, but Hiraku was much larger and when crazed, was nearly unstoppable. He pinned her to the floor, and in a desperate attempt to escape, she took the knife and stabbed it right through his heart. Blood tainted her clothing as he died in front of her, and she sobbed at her own actions. Although it was all over, she was free, she was convinced that it was the end for her as well. She knew she couldn’t live without the support of Hiraku and was sure no one would help a former wife of a crazed man, a widow who killed her husband. Chinatsu grasped the knife firmly in her hand, then hesitantly jabbed in though her own chest.

Anju had been sitting in the corner, watching the whole thing. Tears rolled down her cheeks, but her crying had stopped. She walked over to her dead parents and stared into their lifeless eyes, then retrieved her stuffed bunny and retreated behind the couch. The commotion of it all had been heard by neighbors, and finally somebody broke through the door to investigate. When they found the dead husband and wife on the floor, they immediately went in search of Anju. What they didn’t know was that Masuyo had been watching the struggle through the window and had already taken Anju as her own child, not notifying the villaged of anything in fear that they might take her away. Masuyo ran away with Anju, taking her to the outskirts of town where an abandoned cottage could be found on the shore. There, she raised Anju as her daughter and kept telling her she was her mother. Being young and incapable of fulling understanding all that happened, she accepted Masuyo’s claim and reffered to her as her mother.

A few more years passed, Anju was nearly seven. Masuyo encouraged her to take part in the academy like most of the children in the village, but Anju didn’t speak much. Unsure of what could possibly be the problem, Masuyo assumed Anju was a mute. Instead of forcing her into the academy, she decided to teach Anju herself. Being a former kunoichi, Masuyo knew a few jutsus and began training her with water jutsu. Anju showed no interest at first, so Masuya intoduced basic jutsu to her. After she got the hang of using the basics, she began to perform simple water jutsu. These included signature jutsus used by most mist ninja and few Anju created on her own. Masuyo could see just how proficient Anju was with her chakra and controlling, beginning to boast about how amazing she was to the village. The residents of the Village Hidden in the Mist didn’t want anything to do with Anju, some feared her because of her parents while others found her rude for her silence. This drove Masuyo insane. She had been on great terms with the village when her husband was around, but after his disappearance, people began to believe that Masuyo had something to do with it, and her brother’s actions hadn’t helped at all. Ever since her husband went missing, she had been desperately working to gain the trust and acceptance of her fellow villagers. When they ignored her efforts and claimed Anju a demon child due to her past life, she blamed her neice.

One night while Anju was sleeping, a dark figure snuck into her room with senbon in hand. As soon as the moonlight glared off of the shiny needles, Anju woke up and jumped from her bed. Startled and unable to see her attacker, she dashed out of the room for her own weapons. On that way out, the shadow threw the senbon at her, but pricked holes through her night gown, barely missing her body. When Anju reached the kitchen, she charged the enemy with a knife. The figure fell to the floor in fron of her, the light from the opened curtains shining in to reveal her aunt. Anju shook as the very one who raised her lay dead before her feet. She dashed out the door, in hopes to escape the nightmare. As she ran across the bridge into town, she lost balance and fell to her knees. Anju was too weak to get back up, she just sat their crying. Breaking the sobs was the sound of footsteps as they approached her, then dead silence. A tall man, well built crouched down beside her and lifted her chin with his right hand, looking straight into her eyes. Anju sniffled as the man caressed her face with his hand, as gentle as the night breeze itself. He wiped her tears and helped her up, but as soon as she stood, she passed out from fatigue.

The next thing she knew, her arm were wrapped around the stranger’s neck and her legs were held to his sides with his arms, he was carrying her on his back. They were entering the gates of an unfamiliar village, and she wasn’t concious enough to fight back. She struggled from his hold a little, but not enough. Anju eventually gave up on escape and decided to enjoy the ride and observe the new world around her. Finally they came to another gate within the village, entering separate quarters. He walked to the door of a descent looking house, opened and entered, shutting the door behind him. He shouted for someone by the name of Yumi, and then a young lady came running in. She immediately took Anju from him, carrying her to a vacant room and laying her on the bed. It didn’t take long for Anju to fall asleep in the strange place, but she constantly tossed and turned in her sleep that night.

Morning came, the sun peeked through the windows and the woman from before walked in. She put her palm to Anju’s head, then smiled. “You were ill last night, it’s a good thing my husband found you and brang you to me.” Anju just stared at the women blankly, then turned her head. “I’m Yumi Seiju.” She glanced back at Yumi for a moment, then looked back to the ground. Yumi sighed, then got up to leave the room. “…Thank you…Yumi…” the soft words escaping her mouth. Yumi turned then spoke again, “May I know your name?” Anju stared at the woman again, not accustom to speaking. “…Anju…” Yumi smiled, “Well you are very welcome Anju.” With that said, she left the room, providing Anju more time to rest and recover.

Since that day, Anju became a resident of the house in which she was brought to and rescued. The man who had saved her went by the name of Tozen Suzuki, a traveling merchant who originated in Sunagakure. The lovely women was Yumi Seiju, a descendant of the noble Seiju clan. Both were married, to each other. From that day on, they became Anju’s new parents. They were definitely better parents than her biological ones, caring for her equally. To them, Anju was a gift. Yumi was unable to have children, but had always wanted one. Now she had a daughter to take care of and love, to her it was no coincidence. The first thing they noticed was that Anju didn’t speak much, but she could indeed speak. If she did speak, it was usually only around family or to her stuffed bunny she was still carrying from her old home. They came to the conclusion that she was selective with who she spoke to, and very shy.

Over the next few years, Anju participated in the Konoha academy. Her new parents hoped that if she was exposed to more people, she would talk more. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Although, she did pass the academy with flying colors. She was very intelligent, and her lack of socialization kept her more focused on school. Anju kept on task every day, graduating with impressed teachers and peers. When Tozen realized this, he decided to teach her puppetry he had learned in Sunagakure during his childhood. Although he didn’t become a shinobi, his skill with puppets was quite suffice and Anju seemed to have interest. Tozen used his old puppets, teaching her the basics. To no surprise, she caught on quite well and quickly. Very proud of his adopted daughter, on his next trip to Suna, he brang back Anju’s first puppet. She was obviously grateful since she took it with her everywhere she went.

Anju soon took up her job as a genin, ocassionally taking missions with her team. Usually, she just training with her puppet or explored the village. She didn’t care for the people, but they seemed to be attracted to her. Her silence brought curiousity about her, and she didn’t like it. If out in public, she started hiding behind people she did know, escaping the unfamiliar and nosey faces. Soon, she began to avoid people in general. If she did go into town, it was usually late or when the streets seemed empty. Anju like wandering at night most, because all was silent but the chirping of crickets. Peace and quiet was more her thing, noise bothered her.

After a year or so more of training with her puppets, Tozen brought home another for her. It was much larger, and would definitely serve more difficult to train with than her first one. This didn’t bother her though, it just provided her a bit of a challenge. She took pride in her puppetry, making her quite skilled with the subject. Tozen and Yumi couldn’t help but be impressed. Sometimes she would train so hard, she’d have to repair her puppets. Both of her parents would lend a hand, unless Anju persisted that she do it herself.

Now, Anju just lives the nearly normal life of a young genin and accepted member of the Seiju clan. Her abilities are respected in the clan, for they are proud of even those adopted into the clan. She still continues to train, though she doesn’t seem to show much interest in the Chuunin Exams just yet…
