Description: Since the beginning, Most clans from the mist knew and utilized the kirigakure technique, as it is the villages signature move. More recently there have been small modifications. The Hiriashi clan however, made on of the biggest leaps yet.

Like the Momochi, The Hiriashi clan's Kekkei Genkei was the hidden mist. It remained like this for years on end until the Momochi discovered a way to make their technique stronger. So the Hiriashi started to explore new and unthought of applications. Many however were failures and at the end of the day did nothing too special. This thought and exploration process went on until about 50 years ago, when a man from the clan, one of the clan's top nins, finally found how to make their kekkei genkei different and more effective; and over time the jutsu has been advanced to even higher levels.

In the beginning, The user would activate the kirigakure no jutsu, then create a separate set of hand seals, to merge themselves with the mist, breaking themselves down into chakra, and traveling through it. This proved very handy against the rest of the village, but proved to be even stronger still. Very recently, about 50 years ago, A man named Hichikaze Hiriashi, the father of Salva Hiriashi, from the main branch of the clan, discovered the most recent variation, joko hoito no jutsu.

This kekkei genkei allows the user to merge themselves into particles, particules that will move through the normal touch. In this way, the jutsu is similar to its original, the ability to merge with the already created mist, however, there was now a way around having to use the kirigakure no jutsu. Quickly this jutsu was nicknamed joko hoito (ghostly form) due to appearing as a ghost would.


Special Effect: When in this state, A clan member is invulnarable to physical attacks such as taijutsu, and ninjutsu; however can still attack the target with an altered taijutsu, and the normal nin.

When attacking with "taijutsu" in this state, the attack, if it connects, makes no physical damage, but moves through multiple meridians, disturbing the chakra flow, and thus causing the opponent to loose chakra through the thousands of points on their body.

NOTE: Members at different levels (AS, genin, chuunin etc etc...) have different levels of tolerance against nin jutsu when in this state.

AS: Ninjutsu below the D ranking level has no effect.
Genin: Ninjutsu below the C ranking level has no effect.
Chuunin: Ninjutsu below the C ranking level has no effect.
B-rank (elite chuunin, special jounin): Ninjutsu below the C ranking has no effect.
A-rank (jounin, ANBU): Ninjutsu below the B ranking has no effect.
S-rank (highly ranked ANBU, Sannin, kage level): Ninjutsu below the B ranking level has no effect.

Clan History
In the beginning, the Hiriashi and the Momochi were one. Because of constant wars and economic strife, the people of the Mist country blamed their troubles on the actions of the ninja, directing most of their hate towards those with advanced bloodlines; and many within the Momochi had peculiar abilities, unlike the rest, kekkei genkei, but not all. This was what caused a split between the two clans, as the Momochi were tired of receiving blame for their clans prodigies. The clan split into three groups, the Momochi, the Hiriashi, and the Nanuke clans. Both the Hiriashi and the Nanuke clans were small, and rivaled with the large Momochi. The Nanuke however consisted of revenge thirsty ninja, who wanted to get the Momochi back. The Nanuke clan hailed with the least amount of ninja from the split however. They foolishly decided to challenge their home clan and they were all wiped out.
The Hiriashi were not so foolish. Although they hated the Momochi, and were eternally rivaled with them, they knew not to attack a clan twice their own size; without equal or more power that is. The Hiriashi had been cast out for their kekkei genkei abilities, and thus had the potential for more power, because the Momochi had no such thing. This was how they would prevail in a battle with Momochi ninja. Since the beginning, Most clans from the mist knew and utilized the kirigakure technique, as it is the villages signature move. More recently there have been small modifications. The Hiriashi clan however, made on of the biggest leaps yet. but this clan didn't only stop at a "big leap"... no... they wanted to "fly"!
Within time, the latest kekkei genkei was achieved, and the ready Hiriashi now could attack their rivaling clan...
