Members of the clan may include half-breeds, humans fused with the DNA of beasts, or just humans who have adopted the traditions, studies, and culture of the Akane. Fusions can be undergone before birth, when the DNA accompanying the fertilization within the mother contains origin of another species, such as a human mother and half-breed father, human father and half-breed mother, or both parents being half-breeds. However, fusion can take place shortly after the birth of the child, where the DNA of the child is fused with the selected species and develops along with the child overtime.

When a fusion is successful, the child will obtain characteristics of both human and other said species as they age and grow. Such characteristics include ears from the said species, tails, claws, fangs, and sometimes even fur. With these characteristics, the child may also develop keen senses according to their species, such as advanced sight, hearing, smell, taste, or touch. Additional characteristics may include speed enhancement, endurance, acrobatics, flexibility, etc. depending on the fused species. The child basically takes after both human and beast traits.

The only known completely successful fusions in this breed are those of the canine or feline species. Attempted experimental fusions of other species failed, and therefore had horrible results, some living, some not. Those living results suffer from the many side effects of the disaster, whether it is deformed appearance or internal corruption. Deformation may include rough, irritably dry skin with rashes that look and feel like burns, as well as unsymmetrical halves, such as one half of the body taking appearance of a beast and the other of a human or something as simple as two different colored eyes, and lastly, disabled body parts, meaning that they may have a body part but they cannot move or use it.

Clan History:

The Akane clan is a group focused on nature. They once settled among the humans, but eventually went into hiding when they started their strange experiments in fear that conflict between their ideas of fusing humans and beasts may rise to violence, making them discretely known. Their main village was Arata, a small village on the outskirts of the Fire Country led by a man, and half-breed himself, Mariko Akane. Ancestors of the clan studied the anatomy and genetics of humans and animals, finding similarities and differences in DNA. After many years of research and failed experiments, they discovered a way to combine both genes of humans and beasts and planned to continue their research and experiments to create an advanced race of half-breeds. They tested these experiments on their own people, causing most of their members to have some genes of both human and creature, making them a very unique group not only because of their strange findings and ideas, but their appearance as well.

The clan strived on their genius genetic and scientific discoveries, also finding ways to manipulate DNA so that future generations wouldn’t carry harmful genes, such as genetic diseases. When they weren’t putting their brains to work in their labs, they were farming and ranching, producing for their small village and trading with surrounding villages. However, only outsiders who were deemed trustworthy enough were allowed to enter Arata, and even then they had an escort. This was done to protect the villagers from any angry strangers in opposition to their ways of life, as well as prevent pure violence within the peaceful village.

Unfortunately, simple guards weren’t enough to keep these dangerous mad men away from their prized village. A group of opposing shinobi attacked the village one fateful day, burning the village homes and killing any villagers in sight. Their leader was hung before their very eyes, and those who stopped to stare at the horrifying event were struck down. However, it didn’t stop there. Men in alliance with the assassins attacked the smaller Akane villages as well. Few families escaped, there were little survivors of the massacre. Those who were fortunate enough to live were forced astray from the very ground their ancestors once dwelled and their homes once stood, never to return again, in fear that the crazed enemies may continue their hunt to rid of them once and for all…



Looks:

Kitsune has long white hair that reaches her waist that is usually swaying in the remaining wind matching her white and silver poncho and shirt. The poncho is a greyish colour that hangs over her shoulders and reaches down to her back, which is tied neatly in the front. Otherwise, Kitsune is holding it together. She has long white fox ears that resembles the Winter Fox, which is practically all white. Underneath Kitsune's cloak is a black tank top that reaches the end of her medium sized breasts which is well secured so it won't slip off. Kitsune was born with grey eyes, but later in life had beautiful ruby eyes, matching her cousin Rhea's eyes. She wears a white skirt that reaches above her knees which has grey shorts underneath that hold her senbon pocket, and it reaches down to her knees. She also has a large white and bushy tail as well. Her fox that Rhea recently gave her is white with long ears like a chihuaha but it's ears are also slightly chipped. The fox has long hair which always has a small red collar at it's neck. It has small black-tipped paws that are a pink colour at the bottom, which it has short and well kept claws. It has a long and bushy creamy tail.


Raikou

Personality:

Kitsune is a peaceful girl, making her white hair match her. She keeps her own mind at ease and always entertains herself in someway. She will never go outside in the night, or morning without her cloak, which keeps her mind focused on the cloak. But, even though she seems peaceful, she is very hard to get along with. She can be rude to people she just meets, or maybe even fate meets them and she'll be somewhat nice. Kitsune is always caring for her older cousin, Rhea, who she considers a sister.
She will always try and find her cloak if she looses it, unless she is in a battle or verbal vight. She always will care for at least one boy, and her cousin. Kitsune will always say no to a fight, unless it is for someone she cares about. Kitsune loves ramen with at least three types of vegetables on it, which she loves about any vegetable, to Asparagus, to Brussel Sprouts. She likes only some fruit, like juicy ones, apples, pears, olives, and sometimes berries.

Description: This Katon jutsu is mainly used for activating your inner fire power, or just to strenghten fire jutsus up a little. This jutsu can also be used for lighting candles, or wicks on lights easier then getting fire, or a lighter. First, the user will flip through the only handsign and will slowly rim their finger with fire, which can burn the outer layer of the skin if not used properly. Secondly, the user will get almost a ring of fire going down their finger, which will twist back up and start at the tip of the finger. The last part is to slowly erect the fire from the tip of your finger which will slightly burn if tipped. The user will use this for many needs like explained above.

Description: Kitsune might activate Katon Release to make this jutsu slightly more powerful, however, she may not. Kitsune will go through the handsigns needed to and will force the fire chakra to her palms and slowly will send the chakra out of her hands, making harmful heat emerge and create flames. These flames cannot be controlled, but only by Jounin rank shinobi. Kitsune will slowly watch as these flames emerge around the opponent, or the opposite direction.

The chakra is forced to the tips of their fingers and will slowly rip out, which may cause the skin to rip. After this, the intense heat will travel to the opponent and will surround him/her making them stand in intense flames which only Katon users can withstand, but only if they are used to that elemental.

Description:
Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.

Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the Jutsu on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell. The amount of Chakra needed to dispel the Jutsu varies with strength of the Genjutsu. Sometimes, Kai is useless because the Genjutsu is too powerful.

History:

A Lonely Life

Kitsune was born on July 7, and was born from two full-fledged Akane members. Their names were Rokku Akane [Male] and Kiri Akane [Female]. Rokku and Kiri wondered what was wrong with Kitsune at birth, because her eyes were a pale pale grey. Though, when Kitsune grew up to about the age of 5, her eyes formed to red, Rokku and Kiri had died from a shinobi war protecting Kitsune. Kitsune had found out maybe a year after, but had been taken away by Maya Shidow, a friend like family to Kiri. Before, Rokku and Kiri had never thought of a name for Kitsune, so Maya had named her Kit, short for Kitsune. Maya had taught Kitsune everything a shionobi must do at the age of 8, making her learn earlier then some others. Maya was a good teacher, but a little too nice to Kitsune, when Kitsune did something wrong, Maya always corrected her and showed her again, over and over. Kitsune finally learned at the age of 10. Making her almost a full-fledged ninja.

Academy Student Arc

Kitsune entered the Academy at the age of 11, making some academy students younger then her. Kitsune learned some of the jutsus she'd never learned from Maya. Maya came to visit Kitsune each second day. Kitsune loved seeing Maya, and missed her each day she didn't come. But one day she didn't come, so Kitsune stayed in her room instead of learning. She soon found out Maya had moved to Kirigakure to be a Jounin. Kitsune left it out of her head and learned the jutsus she needed to. Kitsune followed her path and slowly finished her Academy Exam, which she passed. Kitsune soon became a Genin afterwards. She followed and recieved Raikou from her cousin Rhea.

Kitsune walked through the path of Konohagakure. Raikou slowly followed and tripped on the rocky ground. Kitsune slowly scooped up Raikou as he wiggled in her arms. She stroked his creamy fur as his pale purple eyes watching her arms. Kitsune gripped him harder like a hug, he slowly hopped out after he squiggled out of her arms and walked slowly behind her and hid behhing her long legs. She twisted around as he ran around to her front, she slowly waled forwards and tripped over Raikou. Raikou squeaked a little and jumped onto her, dirtying her white cloak a little and jumping off again and slowly squeaking and running away, Kitsune followed running. "Come back you silly fox!" she laughed and searched through the Nook and Cranny's of ever building. Raikou slowly hid under a stool in the Ramen Shop. Kitsune found his tiny footsteps in the muddy grounds and followed them bumping into the stool. She slowly looked down under the stool. "You are my voice, come on." Kitsune laughed and scooped him up again.
