Clan Description:

The Uchiha clan was one of the founding noble families of Leaf village. The clan itself is said to be descended from the Hyuuga clan who possess the bloodline of the Byakugan eye. Because their clan possessed the Sharingan or "Wheel Eye," the Uchiha excelled at being able to read and fend off attackers. This made them prime candidates to help found the Konoha Military Police Corps. The organization itself would go on to incorporate the Uchiha fan symbol into their official logo.

Select few members of the Uchiha clan possess the ability to activate the bloodline Sharingan eye. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and see the tricks and movements required to be able to complete it. However the clan member cannot copy techniques which are unique to another bloodline. It also gives one the ability to cast jutsu techniques only possible by possessing the eye.

The clan itself is known for their ties to fire. For a clan ninja to be seen as an adult, they must be able to utilize a Katon (Fire Element) jutsu such as Goukakyuu no Jutsu. Thus is the tie between the manipulation of fire and the mind of an Uchiha member.

Bloodline: Sharingan (Copying Wheel Eye)

Bloodline Description:

Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.

The Uchiha clan member is not granted the Sharingan at birth; it is only activated later in life, typically during a time of emotional stress in the heat of battle. The Sharingan itself can be transferred to another non-Uchiha by a medical ninja, such as happened with Leaf ninja Uchiha Obito to his teammate Hatake Kakashi. Because his body was not born to carry the Sharingan, the eye is always activated and it burns Kakashi's chakra when used. To lessen the impact of the Sharingan on Kakashi's body, he normally keeps the eye hidden and out of use. Also of note, is the fact Kakashi, a non-Uchiha, was able to advance the Sharingan from two tomoe to three tomoe after gaining the eye.

The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye possessing two tomoe can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponent’s attack. For avoiding incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed and agility will greatly control whether they can move to avoid it. However, three tomoe will greatly help in this area.

Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.

Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any hand seals.

Looks:

Hana has dark hair, with naturally lighter highlights at the tips. It's a medium length, not very long at all. Naturally, her eyes are radiant gray, with tints of gold around the pupil. When her Sharingan is activated, her eyes turn a crimson red. She's normally seen with a blank or serious face, not smiling often. Hana is average height, about 5’8”, with a feminine figure, and only weighing about 124 lbs. Her complexion is lighter than most, although she isn't completely pale. She dresses comfortably, wearing whatever attire she thinks fits best.

She doesn’t technically have the whole ninja look going, like most. Hana doesn't wear her headband much, for the obvious fact that she’s technically a criminal. Her pouch of chosen weaponry is at her waist, matching ninja sandals worn on her feet. On her back are her twin katanas, strapped around her shoulders and torso. Around her neck she wears a choker necklace, almost looking like chains. Commonly upon her should is her raven companion, Naito. If he isn’t with her, he is usually nearby, flying over head, or scouting ahead for her.

Personality:

Hana is quite the intelligent young woman, and although her attitude may come off as childish, she is decently mature. Even without the help of her bloodline, she has always been an outstanding learner, catching onto things quicker than most. Hana may be defined as the silent type, for she is usually reclusive, and most certainly isn’t outgoing. She lacks social skills and compassion, so she isn’t the best with people, but she will occasionally try and make a good impression, so her flaw is technically a work in progress. She says it as it is, regardless of how inconsiderate it may sound, and treats others with as much respect as they do her; logically an all around fair person. She almost always seems calm, but she is really an emotional time bomb. Sometimes she has a difficult time hiding her emotions, but she is mainly reserved. Though, because she normally wears a blank expression, you wouldn't be able to tell anyways.

Hana isn’t very fond of daylight, so she usually wanders about at night. Some may consider her quite cold, since she isn't into long drawn out conversations; she's more so one to make small talk. She almost never questions someone's intentions, believing it's none of her business. With that said, if someone questions her, she usually becomes irritated, for she believes it's none of their business. On the other hand, if she asks them something personal, she allows them to ask her something personal. This only restates her idea of being fair.

Although she doesn't care for people, that doesn't mean there aren't people she likes. When someone really gets to know her, she's may become more open to that person. Then there is the thought to be considered, she probably won't speak enough for you to get to know her. Hana is definitely a person you have to read carefully. Since she doesn't talk much, especially about herself, understanding her is very difficult. She may seem to be in a bad mood, but as soon as you mention it, you realize your mistake and that you probably just put her in a bad mood. She definitely doesn't care to relive the past, but the memories that haunt her make that nearly impossible. She is also one to stand for what she believes in, making her very stubborn at times.

Special Characteristics:

Being an Uchiha, she has the ability to activate her Kekkei Genkai, the Sharingan. Not only this, but due to killing her only friend and mentor, she has access to the Mangekyou Sharingan. However, she only activates her Mangekyou Sharingan when in dire need, not because of the damage it does to her eyes, but because she’d rather not relive the memory as to why she obtained the eyes in the first place.

Mangekyou Sharingan (Kaleidoscope Copying Wheel Eye) -

Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Mangekyou Sharingan is a legendary doujutsu ability which has only emerged in a few clan members in its history. There is still mystery surrounding the eye and the Uchiha clan itself. Each user develops their own unique looking Mangekyou. The requirements for gaining the Mangekyou are very controversial in nature. After Uchiha Itachi murdered his best friend Shisui he gained Mangekyou. He told his younger brother Sasuke that to gain the Mangekyou, he too would have to kill his closest friend. Itachi told Sasuke that a scroll in their clan shrine revealed the true original purpose of the clan doujutsu. This scroll and Itachi himself revealed that the former leader of their clan, Uchiha Madara and his younger brother Izuna were the first to obtain Mangekyou. Madara himself did this by killing his friend, it's assumed Izuna also killed a close comrade.

Usage of the Mangekyou techniques drains quite a bit of a user’s chakra, more so than any other normal technique. Also as a result of Mangekyou usage, the bearer will slowly lose their vision. Madara lost his vision before his brother and sought to regain his power. To do so he removed Izuna's eyes and made them his own. With these new eyes, his Mangekyou took on a combined appearance of his original Mangekyou and Izuna's. These "Eternal" Mangekyou eyes returned his vision and gave him unbelievable strength. With this strength it was said Madara used Sharingan's normal ability to suppress the Kyuubi and tame it.

Itachi originally told Sasuke that if he gained the Mangekyou, then there would be three people who could handle it. After the time skip in the series, Hatake Kakashi revealed he too had gained Mangekyou Sharingan. Later it was revealed that Uchiha Madara himself was still alive, and was the "third" user in Itachi's statement. What part, if any, that Kakashi and Uchiha Obito's eye plays has yet to be determined.

Description:
Megaera, named for the Goddess of Envy, is a technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to create a powerful illusion against the opponent. This jutsu is generated by both Mangekyou eyes. Megaera is an elegant woman of great proportions, with angelic wings and an incredibly large and destructive sword. The sky will darken, and Megaera will emerge from a swirling vortex of clouds above. While the opponent is distracted by the sudden change of scenery, Megaera will swoop down, causing as restraining whirlwind to lift the opponent in the air with great force while five flaming swords pierce the earth around the opponent. Then, with the opponent helpless, Megaera will swing her oversized sword as if she is about to strike the opponent down while the user is really running across the edge of the sword to make their attack on the opponent with a blade or two of their own. Like other Mangekyou techniques, usage of Megaera will damages the eyes and health of the user.

Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed

The ninja will then jump into the air to "shadow" the target with the target's back to their chest.

Kaede was a Medical Ninja, but upon her pregnancy, she retired and decided to work in her family’s flower shop, and Taichi was a dedicated ANBU, both once noble ninja of their home village. The two hadn’t married yet, and weren’t exactly ready to raise a child, but the birth of Hana soon brought them closer. Despite the difficult times the two went through, they always seemed to forgive each other and move on stronger. After a year or so of taking care of Hana together, the two finally decided to marry. Both gathered with family where they exchanged their vows, their own daughter the flower girl. Their small family of three couldn’t look any happier.

As Hana approached the age of five, Kaede noticed her lack of socialization with other children her age. This was a surprise to the mother, because she herself was a joyful and friendly person who was outgoing with just about anyone. In hopes to make a change for the better, both Kaede and Taichi decided to enroll her in the academy so she could not only learn some discipline, but make friends too. The first few weeks were unsuccessful, but after awhile, she began to play with other kids. Taichi wished that Hana would play with her family members rather than some of the other children that weren’t of common clans, but Hana didn’t seem to want to have anything to do with her cousins and other relatives. This didn’t bother Kaede at all, she was just happy to see her daughter finally having some fun, but Taichi became quite disappointed. He didn’t make his disappointment known at first, but as Hana slowly began to choose other children over her own family, Taichi decided to sit her down. In his whole lecture, Hana didn’t seem to find what was wrong with how she approached new friends. She could see family anytime she wanted to, she wanted to make some new friends, some that weren’t just family, other people who would accept her, even if she wasn’t of their blood. Taichi sent her off, letting her go thinking he had reached her small mind, manipulating it the way he wanted her to go about people. However, Hana showed no change in who she talked or played with. Eventually, Taichi let it go, with the help of Kaede’s soft words, assuring him that his daughter was happy as she was.

The academy was nothing for Hana, but she took her time, only because she wanted to make more friends as the years past; her interest in graduating wasn’t as great as the interest she had in meeting new people. However, she did eventually graduate, at the age of ten, and one of the highest scoring students, for the obvious reason she had been there long enough to learn the lessons time and time again. Unfortunately, as time progressed, and his small daughter began to develop into a young kunoichi of Konoha, Taichi was constantly away on missions to keep not only his family safe, but the entire village. This didn’t faze Hana much, for the fact that her father was always busy, whether it was within the clan, or missions for the Hokage. She did, however, miss him. Her new team distracted her from that as they began to take on their own small missions, as well as bond. At this time, Hana had already learned some of her clan jutsu, including the fire element, despite being a female of the clan. She even began to take a liking to genjutsu, slowly progressing in the specialty. After each accomplished mission, their Jounin leader would take them out for a bowl of ramen. Every time, Hana returned home with a smile on her face to Kaede, who had arms wide open for a hug. Whatever relationship Hana didn’t have with her father, her mother filled the gap. Kaede was an incredibly supportive mom, constantly encouraging Hana to take on challenges thrown at her, and even taking some time to help train her when the team wasn’t training. Kaede taught Hana the basics of medical ninjutsu and some genjutsu. Their mother daughter bond was nearly inseparable.

One fateful evening, upon Taichi’s return home from a rigorous mission, all hell broke loose. The mission was successful, but didn’t go without loss. Taichi had lost two comrades, both he could do nothing to aid while they died right before his eyes. He avenged them of course, but the toll of their deaths crushed any sanity he had. He didn’t even go straight home that night, he stopped at the town bad first, drowning his misery in sake, or so he had hoped. After an intake of too much alcohol, he clumsily made his way home, his misery replaced with rage. Kaede had already heard the news, and had stayed up, hoping to greet him with warm embraceful arms. However, when the door opened, he repaid her with what started as a punch in the face. Kaede scrambled her way to Hana’s room, knowing by the look in his eyes, that if she didn’t get out now, it might be the end for both of them. Fortunately, Taichi was too drunk and disorderly to stand any longer, let alone walk. Instead, he shouted random insults and threats as Kaede gathered her things and scurried Hana out the door. With no idea where to go for shelter or safety, Kaede went to the head of the clan, telling them she was leaving town and of Taichi’s condition. They gave her directions to a small village on the outskirts of Konoha, where she would be safe but not too far from home. Taichi was out of her hands now, but if he finally came to his senses, they would reveal the location of his family when the time was right, so that he may apologize at the very least. Early the next morning, Kaede and the thirteen year old Hana were guided out to their new home, frowns on both their tear stained faces.

Mending Tattered Spirits

Three years had passed now, three long years of secluded silence. Ever since the incident, Kaede hadn’t smiled, and so Hana never spoke. They kept themselves away from other people of the village, people that all whispered behind their backs, people who stared at the scars left on Kaede’s body, and the forever innocent face of her child. It was rough, it was depression. Every morning at nearly the same time, they woke, ate breakfast, cleaned or stared out the window as people passed, ate again, returned to their chores, ate again, and slept. The only time the left their house was to stock up on food, and no one dared visit them, even if their house was always spotless. The mother and daughter rarely exchanged words, and never did they lead to a conversation. It was as if their world had been turned completely upside down, and they didn’t even recognize their own faces. However, one hot summer day, an elder man approached their doorway, a traveler who needed a place to stay for the night.

Despite her depression, Kaede still had a kind heart, and couldn’t say no, so she welcomed the weary man into her home. The sudden change threw off their usual routine, as they were now expected to feed this man as well as entertain him, for he was their guest. Surprisingly enough, the many stories of his travels sparked interest in both women’s minds, and Kaede slowly returned to her cheerful self. Hana, on the other hand, wasn’t as cheerful, but she was talking again. The man seemed to reach out to both of them, and with no convincing, he eventually came to the decision of staying in the village. Old Man Hitomi built himself a nice cabin by the river and woods near the small village, so he wouldn’t be a burden to the two. Little did he know, he had become an idol to the eyes of Hana.

To her surprise, Hitomi was once a shinobi himself, and was proficient in ninjutsu and taijutsu as well as swordsmanship. With the revived interest in becoming a successful kunoichi, Hana asked Hitomi for his guidance. He gladly accepted her as his pupil, starting by training her further in her ninjutsu, then following with taijutsu. Her progress was steady but sure, and Hitomi was an amazing mentor, reaching her much easier than her mother or any Jounin of Konoha had. Old Man Hitomi was more of a fatherly figure than her actual father had been, even if he was old. Not only was he like family, but he was her best friend, and only friend in this new village. He taught her everything he knew, and after two years on difficult but enjoyable training, he passed down two katanas of his to her as a reward for her accomplishments. They were basic blades, but to Hana, they were everything. She trained night and day, until her hands got so sore she couldn’t even hold them without losing a grip. Even so, it made Hitomi smile, and that was enough to make Hana smile too, even if it wasn’t on the outside. He could see her joy, he could see what he had done for her, even if she didn’t show it, and she knew that too. From then on, their bond only grew stronger, Kaede, Hana, and Hitomi.

A Return for Revenge

They may have escaped the battle, but the war wasn’t over. Instead of receiving word of his family’s location in return for his sanity, he threatened his own people, and killed them after he finally got what he wanted. Part of the two years Hana had been training with Old Man Hitomi, Taichi had been searching for her and her mother. Unfortunately, this wasn’t for an apology, but what he thought to be self righteous punishment for them leaving him. After wandering around the perimeter of the village, he finally found his way in, and with her optimism, Kaede welcomed him in expecting an apology. Hana was out training with Hitomi, as she did everyday around this time, and was unaware her father had even known of the village. On her return home, she opened the door to find her mother lying lifeless on the kitchen floor and a note from her father that read, “This is what you get for leaving me, her dead body is punishment enough for you.” Her teeth gritted as tears of sorrow and anger seeped from her blazing red eyes, and the note slowly crumpled in her hand.

As the feeble paper twisted in her hand, so did her heart. The young girl, now alone, carried her mother's cold body to the bed she rested in, covering her face with a blanket. Her eyes were blank, a hollow soul. Footsteps stopped behind the old church of the village, her head tilted up, glaring at the cross atop the sacred building. She turned back around and started digging, at first with only her bare hands. When the hole was complete, she returned for her mother, to perform the proper burial for the beautiful woman. As she walked the streets of the small village back to her home, she could feel the eyes on her. She glanced around, only meeting their gaze for a moment. Just long enough to read their expressions, their judgment, and futile whispers of things they did not know themselves. The rage slowly built up inside her as she finally returned to her mother. One last single tear rolled down her cheek as she lifted her and carried her to the marble arch Hana would forever remember her by. With a broken heart, she lay her mother down for eternal rest, and belated peace.

The tranquility didn't last long. On every face of the village was a dirty look, glaring eyes, and foul words. Hana hissed under her breath, trying to cope with the events that only happened moments ago, and the insolent people that seemed to surround her. It was then, one of the ignorant villagers spoke the words that forever changed the life of the torn girl, and soon to end the lives of many others. Clear and audible, the words rang in her ears. "I knew that woman was trouble from the day she step foot in this village, with that bastard child clasping her hand. Should have never welcomed her here in the first place, that crazed husband of hers could have turned around and killed us too." Her stomach churned, the man's arrogance feeding her anger. "It's her own fault. Serves her right." Just as those words escaped his lips, something in Hana snapped. With a swift movement of her hand, she pulled out one of her katanas, cutting the air, and sheathing it. Gasps were heard all around her, and only seconds later, the man's head fell to the ground, followed by horrified screams. However, it didn't stop there.

Rage. The rage had overtaken her, and it was as if she had lost all control of herself. As the helpless humans ran in fear, she took her stance with hands on both hilts, and so the hunting began. Driven by an undying blood lust, she began slaying the villagers. Her blades through their backs, hearts, abdomen, head. She even severed limbs before actually killing her victims, being sure to torture all of those who looked at her the wrong way only moments ago. One by one, bloody bodies fell to the ground before her. Before she could finish them all off, fellow shinobi of the small village came out to their protection. With weapons and a will, they were more of a challenge, but disposed of just as quickly. Her crimson eyes caught them as they all scurried to the village church for shelter, hoping for safety. A twisted smirk stretched across her face as she put her weapons away and slowly walked toward the towering building. Screams echoed throughout the place as the rushed to close and lock the doors. Little did they know, in doing so, they had sealed their own fate. With a few swift hand signs, Hana sent several balls of fire at the sanctuary.

There she stood, emotionless and unaltered as the village she came to call home was set ablaze. The crying and screaming rang through her ears as her people turned to ash and dust, the smell of burning flesh filling the air around her. The flames reflected in her eyes, unchanging. Some of the helpless villagers were trying to remove the lock and open the door to free themselves from the fiery hell, but just as they did, the pressure caused the windows to break, cutting a great deal of those inside. With the new release, and few still living, flaming people ran for the windows, jumping from the building. However, the flames consumed them before they could make their final escape. It wasn't long until she saw him, Old Man Hitomi. Her heart skipped a beat, watching the man scramble for the doors. She felt herself go numb, and begin to go faint. She managed a step forward, right before he fell to the ground, the flames beginning to die down.

Silence. All around her was silent. Although, there was no tranquility upon these grounds any longer. The former screams was replaced by the sound of flames, finally dying. For hours she had stood there, waiting for the end of them all, the end of it all. Her eyes had changed, taking on a new form of the Sharingan. Hana had not only murdered her entire village, but her best friend and mentor. Old Man Hitomi was among all those people, and now he lay in ashes. For this she was rewarded the Mangekyou Sharingan, if you could call such eyes a reward. Her body began to tremble, her mind coming to realization of what she had done, yet her eyes still filled with seeking revenge. Taichi was long gone, her father had murdered her mother, and ran off unpunished. It was up to little Hana to avenge her mother's death, and bring justice upon her murderer. As she took another step forward, she fell to the ground unconscious.

Hana woke to the crying and swarming of shadowed being of the sky, still on the burnt grounds she had fell. She rubbed her tear filled eyes, clearing her blurred vision as she sat up. Everything ached, and all her sense seemed to be heightened. The cawing echoed threw her head as she stared back at the beady eyes in front of her. The small raven pecked at her head, causing her to draw back in minor pain. She gritted her teeth in a low growl, but the bird proceeded forward at her. Hana backed up once more, this time stumbling to her feet. Irritated and obviously in no mood for games, she began trying to shoo the bird by flailing her hands. As she did, the black feathered being took to the air and sat itself upon her shoulder. She immediately fell backwards in confusion and surprise, but the raven stayed put. Hana stared blankly at the pair of jet black eyes, the bird pecking her nose soon after. She cringed, and screamed in rage. The swarm of black birds shot to the sky, all but the one on her shoulder. The only action it made was jumping to the top of her head however, Hana gave up. Knowing defeat, she stood once more, brushing the dirt from her clothes, and beginning her long walk to that of no destination.

From that day on, Hana walked the earth a criminal herself, without a home, and with the newfound animal companion she had come to call Naito. It had been many years now, she had trained herself hard, and survived on her own. In the midst of her confusing past, she found herself an S Rank Missing Ninja among the brutal organization known as the Akatsuki. She had ran into a man among her journey, known a Jordan Uchiha. He being an Uchiha and criminal as well, accepted her and recruited her into the group he himself lead. The Akatsuki was more of a family to her than an evil organization striving for world domination and set out to destroy anyone who got in their way. This was for the reason that they accepted her for who she was rather than judging her for the many people she had killed. Whether it was because they feared her power, or respected her, didn't matter. All she wanted was acceptance.

The Life of a Murderer

Among her new life as an Akatsuki member, she unintentionally met a village Jounin she ended up sparring and then talking with. She may have won the spar, but she wasn't spared from conversation. This man went by the name of Raidon Toten, and was a respected Jounin of Konohagakure no Sato, the village she was born and formally raised in. She didn't exchange this information however, her robes and ring gave away her ranking. Still, he spoke to her. Hana began to learn that this man wasn't fond of criminals, and she didn't expect any less from a shinobi dedicated to his village. Before another fight broke out, she parted ways with the young man, both knowing they would likely meet again in the future. Whether on better or worse terms was unknown, but for now they would leave it at that.

Another man she had met was Ookami Ukiku, another Jounin of Konohagakure no Sato, and one who was very fond of her as much as he was his wolf companions. They had met once before, just briefly before she parted ways with Raidon, but they didn't get to much talking, for the obvious reasons. However, they met up again at the very church she had burned down so many years ago. Hana was paying a visit to the weary souls, the innocent people she murdered in cold blood out of her own insanity. She entered the tattered church, and fell asleep on the only remaining bench in front of the alter, her face stained from tears. It was when she woke in emotional distress that Ookami talked her down and listened to her never resting thoughts. He helped her provide proper graves for all the lives lost upon the grounds, and mourned those remembered alongside her. As conversation continued, the two soon learned they were alike in a sense. Soon enough, Hana found herself walking with Ookami to the village he resided in as a child, and also destroyed, Kumogakure no Sato. She stood by his side as they lay to rest all the spirits and the bodies of his parents that were carelessly forgotten by the others of the new village in its place. Hana provided all the help she could to repay him, and in return, a friendship was born. It was then that the two began to grow close, but Hana feared relationships because of the relations she had witnessed as a child with her mother and father. They parted at the time, only to meet again in the near future.

It was a month or so later, Hana and Naito had been wandering the Snow Country, and apparently at the most inconvenient of times. She found herself in a blizzard, and as she trudged through the knee deep snow, she grew weak and tired. Hana fell faint in the icy weather, Naito squawking as loud as he could over the high winds. Fortunately, the cry for help was carried to the ears of the nearby Ookami, and he and his wolves came to their rescue. Ookami pulled Hana's frozen body into his arms and made haste to the nearest hospital. She woke in a hospital bed, Ookami asleep at her bedside, as well as his wolves and her companion, Naito. The nurse provided her a meal, in which she gladly shared with the others when they woke. She thanked Ookami for his help once more, but before she could escape out the door, he decided to walk with her, to make sure she didn't fall ill again. They found themselves in conversation again, as their bonds grew stronger. They ate at a nearby restaurant, and rented a room at a hotel. The demon inside Ookami took over for a moment, and she pulled him off of one of the hotel workers, but all ended well. However, just as before, she parted from her kind friend.

As she made her way back to the Fire Country, the thought of her new friendship, and the relationship her mother and father had was running through her mind. Unlike her father was to her mother, Ookami was kind and gentle to Hana. It was safe to come to the conclusion that her relationship was nothing like that of her parents, but even so, she didn't turn back. Instead, she strived forward, determined to fulfill the revenge of her mother's death. When she finally did make it to Konohagakure no Sato, she snuck right into the old clan quarters of the Uchiha. It was desolate, vacant, and empty and eerie space, as if nothing living had touched it in years. It hit her that the stories Jordan had told her weren't made up, the Uchiha had really seen a massacre, and they may have been the only survivors. This didn't settle easy with her however, she had a feeling her father was still out there, still living without remorse. Just like that, a chill ran up her spine as she turned to see her father atop the roof in the moonlight. Both made the required hand signs as clones began to pop up to do their bidding for them, the battle had begun.

Checkmate

The fight was drawn out, Hana destroyed some of his clones, and he destroyed some of her clones, only for each of them to make more, and attack over and over. Both were burning chakra, and fast. Hana knew that if she didn't make a strategic move now, she might be the one to fall, and that was not an option. She sent her clones forth, and charged in with them, both katanas drawn. Each of them took out a few clones, and she sliced at the last man standing. Hoping for an end to the never ending battle, she pulled her blades back, only to hear a poof and the man disappear. From behind came her father, making a few last clones and performing hand signs she knew well. Hana did the same, and like that, and explosion tore through her father, and ripped herself as well. Somehow, he managed to crawl, but didn't make it far. He drew his last breaths and collapsed, the battle finally over. Hana rolled over on her back, cringing at the burns and pain of torn limbs. The explosion was apparently significant, because it caught the attention of Ookami who rushed to the scene. He held Hana in his arms for what seemed to be her last breaths as they said their goodbyes, then carried her lifeless body back to the church, to bury her by her mother.

In this case, goodbye was indeed a second chance. With a basic manipulative ninjutsu to temporarily move the body, and a simple genjutsu to alter the appearance, Hana successfully made Ookami think that Taichi's body, her dead father, was her dead body. In all reality, she stood upon the roof, watching as he carried who he thought to be Hana back to the church and bury Taichi beside her mother, Kaede. She had followed, and didn't keep him from his actions. Hana couldn't help but feel it right that her father be buried beside her mother, for they were once a happy couple, and Taichi was once sane, just as she was. However, with the help of Ookami, she had regained most of her sanity. She had done all this because she saw how much of a burden she was on her friend, and she felt that this would provide him freedom. Hana hoped that he would move on, and live life to its fullest, without her in the way. When the fake funeral was finished, she made sure to keep from his path, as if she never existed.

Her disappearance led to more years of wandering, mostly out of curiosity and boredom, while trying to keep her living identity a secret. Naito followed her everywhere she went, just as he had done before. She still felt remorse for her past decisions in leaving her new friends behind, but knew that it was likely for the better good of them, and continued on. She remains a rogue, wandering the lands with no purpose other than seeing the world and doing her part...
