Treating the Wounds (Private)

Dameon maneuvered his way through the bamboo trees panting a bit from all the running he had been doing up until then. He was now walking slowly through the forest his love in his arms carrying her carefully with one arm under her legs and the other under her back to support her. His face was blank from worry that she would not awake. He was going somewhere specific and he only hoped he would get there soon. It wasn’t five minutes later he arrived at one of his little camps where a small wooden house sat by the bank of a river. He opened the door and walked in immediately going upstairs to his bedroom where he would lay her down on the bed and moved the blanket up to her neck.

He sat there on his knees and watched her before he took her hand in his and kissed it softly before he moved downstairs and outside to get some fresh water from the river. With the water in the jug he moved inside to a make a glass for her and put it on the nightstand beside the bed. He then sat down in a chair in the corner and waited for her to wake up, not wanting to be anywhere else but where he was.

The woman was still and pale on the bed. Looking as if she had died already except for the slight rise and fall of the blanket covering her chest. Back in Konoha while she was fighting Dameon, the simple piece of paper containing the seal had managed to do its job quite well. Though it had done it so fast and effectively she had blacked out from it. She had never seen it coming from the confusion and hesitation she forced to cloud her eyes. No. The demon's eyes.

At the moment, the silver haired woman opened her crimson eyes and stared at the sealing. Finding her body wouldn't respond. She closed her eyes again as she concentrated. Trying to remember who she was. Where she was. What was this scent in the room? She could taste blood in her mouth, and knew there was a bruise someone on her face. That was about it at the moment.

Then, all at once, she sat up. The blanket falling away from her chest to settle on her legs as she coughed. Remembering the Shinkokage. Remembering the explosion and the fight. Remembering....

"Dameon..."

“Hana.” He said simply a tear drifting down his face quickly as he moved to the bed and sat next to her placing his arm around her back. He was so relieved to see she was a wake it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders. His heart was relieved as he saw she was awake and he was almost too choked up to even speak. He found it hard to look her in the eyes knowing a few hours again he had hit her and there was a now a bruise on her face but the same was for him as he had a large bruise across his face and a larger one on his stomach.

“I’m so sorry.” He said his voice obviously choked up as he tried to speak as tears dripped form his eyes onto her lap. He was sorry for a lot of things; he was sorry for not being there when she needed him, sorry for leaving out of the blue, and sorry for not admitting his love before it seemed like it was too late. He continued to look down at her lap trying to rid the tears on his face with his hand as he embraced her with his arms not wanting her to leave and not wanting to leave her side ever again.

"Hana?"

She made no move to stop him from embracing her, and after a moment, she wrapped her arms around him in turn. Not being able to push the want, no, the need to do it that tugged at her mind. Her voice was slightly rasped, but low as she had spoken. Was that her name? At least someone knew what it was, even if she didn't. At the sound of his voice, she knew he was crying. It brought tears to her own eyes.

"Don't be sorry about something I can barely remember."

Hana whispered as she embraced him a little tighter. If she couldn't remember it, then it must not have been that important to her. Or so traumatic she didn't want to remember. A part of her was hoping it was the first reason. And even though she remembered who he was, and the last and first time she met him, alot of it was just a blur.

Tears were still in his eyes as he wiped them roughly from his sockets and looked back up at her not knowing whether to feel relieved or saddened more that she had lost portions of her memory. All he wanted to do was hold her like this forever. He brought his head up and faced her before kissing her lightly on the lips again.

“You don’t have to remember, just know that I’m not leaving you again. There is no need for me to leave if I can control the demon inside of you now.” He said hugging her tightly so his head was on her left shoulder the tears now more of happiness than of sadness. He let out a soft sigh of relief as he supported the back of her head with his hand before moving his body back to face her again.

“You should probably get some sleep to help with your head and your bruises.” He stated standing up off the side of the bed and looking down at her.

“I brought you some water as well if your thirsty.”
